Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Hey, Miss A! (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website at heymissa.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, create an account, book a session, use the Parent Portal, or purchase our printable activities. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide our services to you and to communicate about bookings, orders, and your account.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in encrypted form). If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address associated with your Google profile that Google shares with us.
Booking and session requests
When you request a session, we collect the details you submit on the booking form, such as your name, email address, your learner's grade level, the type of session requested, your preferred date and time, and any notes you choose to share about your learner's needs.
Parent portal and student information
If you have an account linked to your learner, the Parent Portal lets you view their recurring session plan and upcoming scheduled sessions. To set this up, Hey, Miss A! creates a student profile that may include your learner's name, grade level, and notes about their learning needs, and links it to your account using the email address you registered with. We also store the details of the recurring plan — the type of session, the scheduled weekdays and times, the start date, an optional end date, and any note — along with the individual upcoming sessions generated from that plan. If you request a cancellation or rescheduling through the portal, we store your request and the short message you include with it. You can only ever view information for students linked to your own account. The portal may also display learning goals and short progress notes that Hey, Miss A! writes for your learner. Goals and notes are private by default and are shared with you only when Hey, Miss A! chooses to make an individual item visible. They are kept skill-based and instructional; please avoid sharing medical, behavioral-diagnosis, or other children's details. You may ask us to remove or withhold any goal or progress note at any time.
Shop orders and payments
When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and order details (the products purchased and order reference). Payment itself is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Contact form messages
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and the message you write to us.
